Digital Community carries new Inspiration out in the World
In the mist of the hot morning hours, four days of exchanging ideas and making new friends in an inspiring and hospitable environment have come to an end. After a spectacular Award Ceremony accompanied by an astonishing cultural program carefully prepared by fantastic hosts, it is time to say goodbye. Countless smart characters from 43 UN member states are getting ready to scatter all over the globe again.
It was encouraging for all of us to see so many different ways of approaching the problems addressed in the UN MDGs using the Internet and mobile technology. With new input, a strong network and memories of many tasty bites of the world’s fruitiest e-Content, the proud winners of the WSA and WSYA will continue developing their projects and feel ready to go about new ones.

Discover Outstanding e-Content
From the October 23-26th, Sri Lanka turned into a global hub for digital innovation. Once again it was time to showcase the world’s most excellent ICT-solutions and discover the latest trends in e-Content at the WSYA Winners’ Event 2013 that was celebrated within the World Summit Award Global Congress in Colombo.
Renowned speakers, visionary keynotes, and interactive discussions were on the agenda when the best ICT-experts and content-developers for smart devices gather for the WSA Global Conference, Exhibition, and Gala.

For the 6th time, the World Summit Youth Award (WSYA) brought together the world’s best e-content producers at this international event designed for knowledge exchange and networking.
WSYA Winners had the opportunity to present their approaches to address today’s global challenges and lay the foundation of a strong, sustainable network of social acti-preneurs.
