EADiM: Arnau Gifreu Castells

Associate Lecturer, University of Vic / Communication and Business College, Spain.Lecturer, researcher and producer in the audiovisual and multimedia field. Audiovisual Communication graduate from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Master’s Degree in Digital Arts and PhD Candidate from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF, Barcelona). I am currently carrying out a Thesis focused on the Interactive Digital Communication at the UPF since 2006. That same year I started my teaching career at the UVIC Communication and Business Faculty. I have taught TV Language, Documentary and Video Clip subjects. Managed over 60 multimedia projects as well as the last year project in Interactive Communication. In 2011 I started to work as a teacher for the Faculty of Communication from Universitat Ramón Llull. Member of the Digital Interactions Research Group from the UVIC and collaborator of the Digidoc (UPF Research Group). Coordinator of the MBA in Interactive Digital Communication (UVIC). Editorial Head of the magazine Ictineus – A magazine that focuses on communication, spreading and the art of teaching of science – published with the El Periodico de Catalunya. Co-organiser of I-Docs Conference and Musiclip Festival. Regular collaborator of the Activa Films production company, the E-week (Vic’s Digital Week), La Casa del Cine…Expertise : Interactive nonfiction,  interactive documentary, transmedia storytelling, education, social media
