iProA, a non-profit making professional organization founded in 1999, is dedicated to the bridging of digital divide in society, and advancing the art & science and proper application of Internet technology. We have over 2,300 members, and operate under the leadership of a 33 member Council. Our activities are managed by a 103 member Executive Committee through 26 Committees with the support of 6 full time staff. Members of iProA come from a wide spectrum of professions, including experts in areas like innovative design, sales, marketing, infrastructure, e-commerce, consultancy, investment and other Internet related professional services. Many of our members are CEOs and senior executives from leading information technology enterprises. In the past seven years, iProA and its members participated actively in community services and have gained wide recognition in Hong Kong. Starting from 2004, voting members of iProA, with four years or more of working experience in IT fields are eligible to register as individual voters of the IT Functional Constituency in Legco elections. |

Akzente Salzburg is a service institution for young people working for and with girls, boys and young adults in their entire living environment. Akzente Salzburg is a non-party social-profit organization in the federal state of Salzburg, has been in existence since 1986 and pays special attention to youth work outside of school. Therefore, Akzente strongly cooperates with the youth department. Active youth work is a principal matter of municipal politics. Open-minded communes for children and youth are also communes, in which adults feel comfortable. That is why communes should support the development of young people. Akzente Salzburg is offering various activities in the context of “regional and municipal youth work”. |

Lil' MDGs mission is to leverage the power of the Internet, digital, and social media to educate, engage, inspire, and empower children in all corners of the world to help meet the United Nations' Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). What started out as an organization with just three children, in 2004, now has more than 20,000 youth volunteers hailing from 40 countries! Together, they have made a tangible difference in the lives of over 1 million individuals worldwide! Lil' MDGs have rallied youth from around the world to raise more than $780,000 for tsunami relief and over $10 million for hurricane relief. In addition, Lil' MDGs has mobilized youth to raise funds and resources to build schools, dorms, libraries, playgrounds, community gardens, and more in several countries. To date, through Jayme's Fund, they have awarded about $70,000 in grants to fund a variety of projects. Majority of Lil' MDGs youth volunteers range in age from 8 - 19 and they all play an active role in awareness, educational, and service activities worldwide. |
